We are pleased to announce that this year, our speaker will be Ambassador Carey Cavanaugh, Director of the Paterson School of Diplomacy at the University of Kentucky who has served in Germany, Russia, Georgia, Italy and Switzerland; he also was Charge d’Affaires to Georgia after its inception, spearheading the creation of the US Embassy to Georgia. Ambassador Cavanaugh will be speaking at the Opening Ceremony of our conference on a range of issues, foremost among them the Russian-Georgian Conflict and International Diplomacy.
